Restoring the Voice of the People: A Courageous Party Endorsement Received but Declined

April 29, 2025

Josh Prince is honored by the courage shown by the Berks County Republican Committee. Their support reflects the best of what a political party should be: voices raised for truth, liberty, and justice — not silent, not compromised.

But with deep gratitude, Josh respectfully declined their endorsement.

Why?

Because, as further explained in Josh’s linked declination above, integrity does not pick and choose its moments.

The Berks County GOP, though made up of principled individuals, remains part of the larger Pennsylvania GOP leadership structure — the same state leadership, as well as his opponent, that ignored a grieving family’s plea to denounce a vile, politically weaponized AI-generated video.

The same leadership that has allowed PA GOP State Committee Woman Nancy Pleskovitch to be unjustly punished for advocating for the candidate her constituents supported — even though she violated no Party bylaws.

The same leadership that turned a blind eye when the Lancaster County Republican Committee distributed a sample ballot with Republican Josh Prince’s name crossed off.

The same leadership that refused to “permit” non-endorsed Republican candidates to speak at meet-the-candidate events open to the public.

We cannot call out injustice one day and accept its rewards the next.

Not if we mean what we say.

This is the cost of principled leadership.

From the very beginning, Josh made it clear: primaries belong to the People, not to party elites. Trust must be earned at the ballot box, not manufactured through Party endorsements.

This campaign is bigger than a court seat. It is a call to restore what politics in Pennsylvania was meant to be: a sacred trust between the governed and those who serve — not a shell game of silence and convenience.

Because real leadership means standing for truth when it is costly;
Unity means nothing if it protects lies; and,
Justice is not for sale – at least, not with Josh.

On May 20th, choose wisely, Pennsylvania!
