We’re Not Going Away: Third-Party Coalition Unites Behind Josh Prince Before May 20 Vote

May 19, 2025

HARRISBURG, Pa. (May 19, 2025) — A rare and forceful letter issued by organizers from several of Pennsylvania’s leading third-party political movements, sent to both major parties and their county affiliates, is sending a sharp warning to the state’s political establishment on the eve of the May 20 primary.

The declaration, issued under the banner of the Coalition of Independent and Third-Party Voters of Pennsylvania, affirms the coalition’s full and confident support for Josh Prince and makes clear they stand ready to continue backing his candidacy through a write-in effort in November—should the Republican establishment attempt to block his path to the ballot.

Their unified stance reflects not only rising discontent with party machines, but a surge of principled momentum around Prince’s campaign. Prince has earned cross-partisan trust—uniting constitutional conservatives, independents, and liberty-minded voters who are determined to restore government by and for the people.

The coalition includes organizers from the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania, Constitution Party of Pennsylvania, We the People Party of Pennsylvania, and the Libertarian Party Mises Caucus of Pennsylvania. According to the Pennsylvania Department of State, nearly 1.5 million voters are registered outside the Republican and Democratic parties.

“Our coalition proudly supports Josh Prince for Commonwealth Court; he is a candidate who has demonstrated consistent dedication to constitutional rights and the people of Pennsylvania,” the letter states. “Whether or not his name appears on the November ballot as a major party nominee, we will cast our votes for him in the general election.”

In their letter, the coalition expresses “deep discontent with the ongoing political theater staged by both major parties,” declaring that voters in the commonwealth “have been forced to choose between two establishment candidates—both often more loyal to party machines and entrenched interests than to the citizens they are meant to serve.”

The statement sharply criticizes the current Commonwealth Court race, describing major-party endorsed candidates Stella Tsai and Matt Wolford as “carefully selected party operatives, serving not the people, but the agenda of their party and its network of political insiders, donors, and government cronies.”

The coalition is using this moment to urge both parties to reform—and to remind them that Pennsylvania voters are watching. They call on party leaders to “become incubators of public servants” and to prioritize nominees who are “independent in thought, constitutionally grounded, and unafraid to challenge the divisive corruption and complacency that define today’s political landscape.”

The letter closes with a direct challenge to the political establishment:

“The people of Pennsylvania are awakening. We will no longer be silent. We will no longer choose the lesser of two evils. We demand better — and we will build it ourselves if you refuse to deliver.”

Echoing that call, and with the future of the Commonwealth Court hanging in the balance, Prince is asking every Pennsylvanian who values liberty and accountability to take immediate action.

Registered Republicans are urged to cast their vote for Josh Prince in the primary on Tuesday, May 20. Those who are not registered Republicans still have a vital role to play—by standing alongside volunteers at polling places and helping voters make an informed choice. Every conversation, every vote, and every act of courage matters.

“I am inspired and strengthened by the courage of the leaders in the Coalition of Independent and Third-Party Voters of Pennsylvania, who stand boldly, not only for themselves, but for every Pennsylvanian who has been silenced, sidelined, or sold out,” Prince said. “Their stand is a battle cry. It is a reminder that our government exists to secure the rights of the people, not to serve entrenched political interests.

“Pennsylvanians are not begging for favors. They are rightfully expecting what the Constitution promises: that the law be applied as written, justice delivered without favoritism, and liberty protected for all. This is not too much to ask. It is the very foundation of our Republic. And if that foundation has been forgotten, the people are here to restore it. We are not backing down. We are just getting started.”
