Libertarian Mises Caucus of Pennsylvania Endorses Josh Prince for Commonwealth Court

May 14, 2025

PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NORRISTOWN, PA — The Libertarian Party Mises Caucus of Pennsylvania has formally endorsed constitutional attorney Josh Prince, candidate for Judge of the Commonwealth Court. The Caucus is an independently organized grassroots group of Libertarian Party members. Through its state chapters, the Caucus works to promote candidates who defend individual liberty, personal responsibility, limited government, property rights, civil liberties, and constitutional integrity—and to ensure that elected officials serve the people, not entrenched political interests.

Praising his unmatched legal record, principled independence, and dedication to constitutional fidelity, Nick Ciesielski, the Caucus’ Pennsylvania State Organizer, described Prince as a candidate who exemplifies “justice for all”—not just for those aligned with political power.

“The Pennsylvania Mises Caucus proudly endorses Josh Prince for PA Commonwealth Court. Josh has a history of not just talking about defending the rights of Pennsylvanians, but has spent his career fighting for them. His work was well known in Libertarian circles before he ever announced his candidacy, and his work defending the Second Amendment rights of Pennsylvanians is legendary. While the Mises Caucus generally focuses its efforts on challenging the two-party establishment from the outside through the Libertarian Party, it would be irresponsible of us to allow partisan labels to prevent us from supporting a candidate of Josh’s caliber. Many Pennsylvanians are fed up with the career politicians, party insiders, and corruption at all levels of government and want elected officials who will serve them, not themselves and the system. The only candidate worthy of this vote for Commonwealth Court in Pennsylvania is Josh Prince, and we call on voters across all party lines concerned about a court that will defend Pennsylvanians’ rights to vote for Josh.”

In response to the endorsement, Prince offered the following statement:

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Pennsylvania Mises Caucus and deeply grateful for the support of Libertarian voters across the Commonwealth. As of the Department of State’s data from November 2024, nearly 1.5 million Pennsylvanians are registered outside the Republican and Democratic parties. These voters represent more than a number—they are a principled force who value liberty, accountability, and a return to constitutional governance.

While Republicans and Democrats alike may overlook these voters or take them for granted, I do not. I share their concerns, I respect their convictions, and I welcome their voice in this race. A judiciary that belongs to the people must serve all the people. I am not running to preserve the status quo—I am running to restore justice to its rightful place: accessible, impartial, and grounded in law as written and the Constitution as intended.

Throughout my career, I have held the government accountable, litigating cases of first impression and earning victories for individual rights at every level of our court system. My record is public. My arguments are grounded in principle. And my judicial philosophy is clear: the law must be upheld as written and the Constitution as originally intended. Period.

The Commonwealth Court is often the last line of defense for ordinary Pennsylvanians. I am committed to ensuring that every voice, especially those long ignored by political machines, is heard, respected, and protected under the law.”

Josh Prince is a nationally respected constitutional litigator who has always stood with the people—never the government—unlike his opponent. He has successfully challenged government overreach in landmark cases involving the First and Second Amendments, due process, administrative law, workers’ compensation, COVID mandates, restorative justice, and more. His campaign has earned support across party lines from voters who value impartiality, integrity, and principled leadership on the bench.
